Tree Trimming Work Begins June 16
Gunnison County Electric Association has contracted with Arbol to begin tree trimming work in areas where trees and brush have been identified as being closest to overhead power lines. This work is an important part of maintaining a safe and reliable electric system.
Arbol crews will begin work on June 16, 2026, in areas west of Gunnison and south towards Lake City on Highway 149.
Please watch for crews and equipment in work areas and slow down when traveling through these areas.
