The GCEA Board of Directors determines how Operation Round-Up® funds are to be used. Visit the Board of Directors page. The Board has currently authorized Operation Round-Up® Funds to be donated to the GCEA Scholarship Fund.
The maximum yearly contribution is $11.88 per meter (99 cents for 12 months), but the average contribution is closer to $6 a year. This small contribution may not seem like much, but the dollars add up quickly when enough members participate.
Members who volunteer to take part in the program have their monthly electric bill rounded up to the next highest dollar. For example, if your monthly bill were $52.30, you would pay $53.
