Electric Vehicle Charger Rebate

Must apply for rebate within 120 days of purchase.

Gunnison County Electric Association (GCEA) can help electric vehicle owners shift their charging off-peak with these incentives on EV chargers:

  • 70%, up to $500, of the cost of a level 2 home charger
  • You must sign up for the time-of-use rate (TOU) to qualify for the rebate

Drive for 82 cents per gas gallon equivalent when charging off-peak on the TOU rate!

Shifting electricity consumption off-peak can benefit you and your neighbors!

Electric Installation Rebate For Level 2 Charger

If you need to install a 240-volt outlet in your garage to plug in a Level 2 home charger, GCEA offers a rebate of 50% of the installation cost up to $250. Please submit your electrician’s invoice by emailing GCEA. You must apply for the rebate within 120 days of the installation to qualify.

(There is no requirement to switch to TOU to be eligible for this rebate.)
